Investment Management Process
Intro To Investment Management
We have a well-reasoned approach to managing your portfolio. Your portfolio is constructed to help you to obtain your goals using a thoughtful selection of stocks , bonds and other investments in an allocation appropriate for your growth and cash flow needs. Your individual goals, risk tolerance and time horizon are factored into our investment decisions, as are ongoing changes in the markets and your personal life. We believe that protecting your assets in down-market is as important as growing your assets. Our philosophy is to take the least amount of risk necessary for our clients to achieve their financial objectives.
Investment Process
Winthrop Partners had access to a wide variety of investments when designing portfolios for our clients and – with the support of Raymond James and Citi Bank research and due diligence, and our own analysis and understanding of your needs – we choose investments best suited to your needs, constraints, obligations and goals.
Creating An Individualized Plan
A well defined financial plan is the foundation for creating an investment plan. A financial plan creates your personal financial map and navigates your long and short-term financial goals. Once your financial plan is in place, it’s easier to make investment decisions and stay on the right track to meet your goals. The investment plan component is where we create a customized asset allocation and plan to meet your individual goals and objectives and cash flow requirements.
Monitoring & Revising The Plan
As a fiduciary it is our responsibility, not only to build and implement your investment portfolio, but to monitor and review on a regular basis to ensure that your investments are aligned with your financial goals. Investment Management is not a one-time event but rather an ongoing dynamic process that evolves as one’s assets grow and life changes occur.
