Thomas Saunders is a managing member of Winthrop Partners. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry with some of the nation’s largest and most highly regarded firms. His background includes senior management positions in the investment management, trust, wealth management, private banking, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial banking fields. Tom is based in the Doylestown, PA office.
Can you give us a glimpse of your personal life?
I am a Massachusetts native that has lived in Bucks County, PA with my wife, Sue, since 1993. We have three grown children: Bo, Margot, and Keith, and two adventurous dogs, Nola and Chyna.
What experience and credentials do you have?
I have been in the financial services industry since 1986. I have held senior positions in Commercial and Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management and Insurance with some of the nation’s leading financial institutions. As a result, I am well versed in the types of products and services that my clients ask me to advise them upon. I graduated from the University of Chicago with an AB in 1983. I hold a Series 65 license and I have held Series 63 and Series 7 licenses.
What do you like about being a financial services professional?
I enjoy helping individuals match their goals and aspirations with their financial plans and investment strategies.
What are your goals for your clients?
I want them to feel secure in knowing that we are working diligently to help them achieve their financial goals and we will stand beside them and support them and their families through all economic conditions and personal circumstances.
What community organizations do you support or belong to?
I have been on the Boards of the Mercer Museum, Fort Hill Museum, Anne Silverman Community Health Clinic, Bucks County Audubon Society and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
